The word of God is the truth that all men should seek after. Everything written in the scripture is true and the truth is centered on Jesus Christ because he is the God of the truth. This peculiar fact is obviously seen in the gospel book of John 14:6, Jesus told Thomas, "I am the way, the truth and the life" Truth means sincerity as opposed to falsehood. In our society, truth is always bitter in the ears of unbelievers. This contributed to the reason why some people oppose the teachings of our Lord Jesus.
