GOD HAS THE ANSWER by Fortune Nwaiwu

GOD HAS THE ANSWER

A sermon preached by Fortune Nwaiwu

“My heart rejoices in the LORD! The LORD has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me” - 1 Samuel 2:1.

Introduction

There was a polygamous family, where a man married two wives. The first wife was not giving forth any child. For many years, she could not conceive, so her husband had to marry another wife, and she bore him children. The first was very hospitable. She helped the second wife in many ways. But what would be her reward after being kind to the newly married woman? When this second wife had realised that she had had many sons and daughters, she began to taunt the first wife. It happened that the man had a she-goat his father in-law from his first wife gave him after paying the bride price. This goat had never conceived, and the second wife would come looking at it. She would say:

“You have been in the house before my husband married me. What has stopped you from giving out children? You see that you are cursed, and what is following your owner is following you too. Emm, I have seen those who I'm better than”.

She would see a tree without a fruit and begin to curse it in a way the first wife would feel the pain of infertility. In fact, the first wife always bathed with tears when she remembered her condition. Each time she wanted to forget about her woes, her co-wife would try to insult her with her situation. But, she always found comfort in this scriptural reference (1 Samuel 2:1):

"My heart rejoices in the LORD! The LORD has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me".

She believed that one day God would have an answer to her situation. And a few months later she conceived and delivered a baby boy, and that she-goat too delivered.

The prayer of praise Hannah rendered to God as he really rescued her from the taunt of Penninah her co-wife - the wives of Elkenner has much to teach us, as members of one faith. I want to remind you again that with God, every situation has an answer. Just like Hannah who did neither commit a verbal attack, nor did she engage herself in a physical combat, she waited for God to give her an answer to her problem. That is why she said, God has given her an answer for her enemies.

Are you in a situation where you feel like you don't know how to handle it? Is your marriage at the verge of collapsing, falling apart? Or is your life caught up in the web of frustration, hopelessness, hard luck and difficulties and you want an answer to your situation? Do you know that today if only you’ll humbly go into your private room, just like 30 minutes, stay with God in prayer, there will be an answer to that your seeming situation? Travelling from one prayer center to another can never be an answer to your problem. Your heart is the center of God’s attraction, and therefore let your heart feel the power of his presence. Do you know that where there is presence of God, there is liberty? Would you give your time now? Just whatever you're doing, leave it and seek his presence. It's by his presence that your yoke of despair and problems will disappear. May God give you an answer to your situation. May he give you an answer to your enemies. Today God has lifted your horn of salvation, and you can never be taunted again by your enemies. Whatever is becoming of objects of shame in your life, may the Almighty God take it away from you. This year is your year of celebration because I have seen you, in particular, for many years you have been asking God why, .… why me Lord! Today God has brought an answer to your challenges. Begin to wave your hand as a token of his glory, thanks and honour.

You are blessed in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Jesus!

If this inspiration has moved your spirit in the realm of glory, you can indicate it here let the man of God and his prayer team always remember you in prayers.

Overcoming the spirit of Delay by Fortune Nwaiwu

Overcoming the spirit of Delay A sermon preached by Fortune Nwaiwu on Wed. 20/03/2019 There are forces that are responsible for delaying peoples' blessings, keeping them from progressing, such forces are also responsible delaying some people from receiving Christ as their personal Saviour. With the help of God, those forces hindering your success will stop.  1. The Ethiopian Eunuch overcame the spirit of delay by receiving God's salvation – Acts 8:36  As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptised?”   He had accepted to follow Christ but was not yet a born again because he was yet to be baptised. His baptism delayed a little, and he wondered what would stop him from being baptised since there was a river to do so. So being a serious minded person to embrace Christ as his Saviour, he was then baptised by Philip. Never you allow the power of darkness to stop you from receiving God's ...

A BORROWED LIFE

sermon 19. A BORROWED LIFE “But God said to him, “You fool! This very night your life will be required of you. Then who will own what you have accumulated?”─ Luke 12:20 Berean Study Bible. When we gather for a funeral service, it reminds us that death is inevitable, it reminds us that one day, we will equally die. Having conscious of dying should make us to have a good relationship with our God because he has the power to destroy both the flesh and the soul. I want to tell you today that everybody lives a borrowed life. We own nothing about our lives, our lives can terminate at any time. We don’t know when, and where the owner─ the lender of this life can take it back from us. From the parable of the rich fool in the gospel book of Luke 12:13-21, we see that there was a certain rich man who failed to acknowledge God as the source of his life. All his mind was pre-occupied by the worldly riches. As a man who had enough crops, he planned to hoard them, store them up while t...

DO NOT ALLOW SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR CROWN

DO NOT ALLOW SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR CROWN A sermon preached by Rev. Fortune Nwaiwu on Sunday 28/04/2019 'I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown’− Rev. 3:11 NLT. We thank God, brethren, for his unfailing love and grace to sustain us to these days. Let’s wave our hands to him, the Most High God as a token of honor to him. Join me as I sing this song: I’ve decided to follow Jesus  I’ve decided to follow Jesus I ’ve decided to follow Jesus No coming back, no coming back Do you know that anyone who has decided to follow Christ has as well embarked on a spiritual journey? The journey is like a race athletes run expecting a wonderful crown at the end. It should be noted that a crown is never given to people that are not successful in the course of the race. You may do well at the beginning of your race, but how you end is a matter of importance. If you end well, you will be entitled for your glorious crown, and if not you will receive a crown of...
