THE CHRISTENING OF SAMPSON FORTUNE-EMINENCE CHIGOZIRIM

Christening of a New Born Baby

As at this day, 3rd of May, 2018, a child was born to my family, Nwaiwu Fortune, at 4:48 PM.

The weather

The meteorological condition of that day the child was born was a very cool one, especially as it was in the evening, though there was a rain fall some couple of hours before, and it helped to make the evening so blissful and unruffled.

Prophecy about the child

Before people would know that the mother of the child, Nwaiwu Fortune-Chidinma was pregnant, it had been foretold by a prophetess- Mrs. Josephine Eberechi during our prayer at my house in a night that she saw a new born baby, and a strong hand came and lifted him high, and many people rejoiced. A few days before the child was born, another prophetess sister Franca Onwuli from Umusharam Igbodo Etche in Rivers State received a direct message from God like Josephine Eberechi that she saw my wife Nwaiwu Fortune-Chidinma carrying a baby boy. And when the child would be born I would not be there.

Manifestations of the prophecies

Immediately the child was born, the midwife lifted him high, a sign that the child is born great. And when the mother of the child was about to give birth to her baby, I was asked to return home to prepare food since my wife was with my mother. As soon as I came home, I received a call that my wife had put to bed. This fulfilled one of the prophecies spoken about the child.

Testimony

God really helped me during the conception and delivery of my first son. There was never a time we failed to pray, and God answered us. Enemies wanted to frustrate me, and to disparage my family, trying to terminate the pregnancy. They tied the baby in the womb, but God loosed it, they planned evil but God reversed it for my good. I have seen that this child is special, and must be trained in the way of the LORD. God has destined him to be an international figure, a richman, a minister and an influential man of moral repute.

Circumcision

On this day, Thursday 10th of May, the child was circumcised by Mrs. Celine at her clinic, Alulu in Imo State. It was around some minutes to Nine o’clock in the morning. The weather temperature was relatively mild. The person who went with me excluding my wife and mother was Uzochi Williams Okere.

Naming ceremony

On this day, Friday 11th of May, my child was named Fortune-Eminence as his English – first name, Chigozirim, his Igbo name, while Sampson, the surname. Thus, his full name is Sampson Fortune-Eminence Chigozirim.

The meaning of Fortune-Eminence
The name is a compound word, having two words at a single stretch.
Fortune means wealth, treasure, good-luck, affluence, riches, favour, and prosperity, Eminence means distinction, prominence, fame, distinction, reputation, importance and celebrity.

Overcoming the spirit of Delay by Fortune Nwaiwu

Overcoming the spirit of Delay A sermon preached by Fortune Nwaiwu on Wed. 20/03/2019 There are forces that are responsible for delaying peoples' blessings, keeping them from progressing, such forces are also responsible delaying some people from receiving Christ as their personal Saviour. With the help of God, those forces hindering your success will stop.  1. The Ethiopian Eunuch overcame the spirit of delay by receiving God's salvation – Acts 8:36  As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptised?”   He had accepted to follow Christ but was not yet a born again because he was yet to be baptised. His baptism delayed a little, and he wondered what would stop him from being baptised since there was a river to do so. So being a serious minded person to embrace Christ as his Saviour, he was then baptised by Philip. Never you allow the power of darkness to stop you from receiving God's ...

DO NOT ALLOW SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR CROWN

DO NOT ALLOW SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR CROWN A sermon preached by Rev. Fortune Nwaiwu on Sunday 28/04/2019 'I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown’− Rev. 3:11 NLT. We thank God, brethren, for his unfailing love and grace to sustain us to these days. Let’s wave our hands to him, the Most High God as a token of honor to him. Join me as I sing this song: I’ve decided to follow Jesus  I’ve decided to follow Jesus I ’ve decided to follow Jesus No coming back, no coming back Do you know that anyone who has decided to follow Christ has as well embarked on a spiritual journey? The journey is like a race athletes run expecting a wonderful crown at the end. It should be noted that a crown is never given to people that are not successful in the course of the race. You may do well at the beginning of your race, but how you end is a matter of importance. If you end well, you will be entitled for your glorious crown, and if not you will receive a crown of...

WHERE IS YOUR HOPE?

WHERE IS YOUR HOPE? A sermon preached on the Easter Sunday, 21 st April, 2019 by Rev. Fortune Nwaiwu Can the dead live again? If so, this would give me hope through all my years of struggle, and I would eagerly await the release of death”− Job 14:14 NLT. I preach from the angle of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified. We see that there were many people in those days that had committed crimes and were supposed to die based on the Law of Moses (i.e. the man that committed adultery with the woman that was brought to Jesus that he saved) but no one sentenced them to death. But why is it that our Lord Jesus Christ, an innocent soul was crucified? He came to show us the way, to save us from the power of sin. In order to fulfill the scriptures, he was destined to die for us all, but his people did not know him. Out of hatred, he was killed− he was oppressed and treated harshly, and yet he did not say a word. He remained silent before his foes. But what...
