WHERE IS YOUR HOPE? A sermon preached on the Easter Sunday, 21 st April, 2019 by Rev. Fortune Nwaiwu Can the dead live again? If so, this would give me hope through all my years of struggle, and I would eagerly await the release of death”− Job 14:14 NLT. ABOUT THE AUTHOR The author, Fortune Emerence Chinemerem Nwaiwu was born to the family of Rev. S.A.N.D. Nwaiwu from Umuezu Egbeke Etche Rivers State of Nigeria. He obtained his Master's Degree in Applied English Linguistics in 2014 from University of Calabar. At his tender age, he received a calling from God to serve as a minister. SERMON 24 BUY THE TRUTH AND SELL IT NOT         Buy the truth and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction and understanding"-----Proverb 23:23 KJV. The word of God is the truth that all men should seek after. Everything written in the scripture is true and the truth is centered on Jesus Christ because he is the God of the truth. This peculiar fact is obviously seen in the gospel book of John 14:6, Jesus told Thomas, "I am the way, the truth and the life" Truth means sincerity as opposed to falsehood. In our society, truth is always bitter in the ears of unbelievers. This contributed to the reason why some people oppose the teachings of our Lord Jesus. Christ is the only way who came to draw all men to God. Through him, there is salvation and forgiveness of sin. He is the truth because he always tells us what we ought to do.
