Introduction There is no man on earth that has not in one way or the other experienced the joy of the LORD in his life. Though some people right from their childhood experience pain, and sorrow- their lives know no joy or happiness, while some people's lives progress from happiness to sorrow due to some circumstances, or crimes committed. Cohesion and Coherence: A Study of two texts, One with Cohesive Markers while the other lacking Cohesive Markers Introduction This paper seeks to analyse two texts finding out a text with cohesive markers and a text lacking cohesive markers. A text in linguistics, is any spoken or written discourse that forms a unified whole, which may be a sentence, a paragraph, or a dialogue. A text is not a grammatical unit, but rather a semantic unit of language, i.e. a unit of meaning, not of form, (Bahaziq, 2016:p112). Texture is what provides the text with unity and distinguishes it from a non-text. Therefore, it is the cohesive relation that exists between units of a text.  This paper explores cohesion and coherence with their instances to enable readers glance on how words structurally and semantically hang together to create a coherent text. Overcoming the spirit of Delay A sermon preached by Fortune Nwaiwu on Wed. 20/03/2019 There are forces that are responsible for delaying peoples' blessings, keeping them from progressing, such forces are also responsible delaying some people from receiving Christ as their personal Saviour. With the help of God, those forces hindering your success will stop.  1. The Ethiopian Eunuch overcame the spirit of delay by receiving God's salvation – Acts 8:36  As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptised?”   He had accepted to follow Christ but was not yet a born again because he was yet to be baptised. His baptism delayed a little, and he wondered what would stop him from being baptised since there was a river to do so. So being a serious minded person to embrace Christ as his Saviour, he was then baptised by Philip. Never you allow the power of darkness to stop you from receiving God's salvati
